Janak house building was constructed in 1988 by Janak Manufacturing works, a factory manufacturing metal beds,on their approximately 1900 sq.ft.freehold plot with the help of a developer named M/s Ankit Enterprises.This building comprising of 40 flates,2 godowns and 7 shops was sold to public and converted to a cooperative housing society.As such Janak house cooperative housing society was registered under MCS Act in 1990.The owners of flats and shops etc.became the member and share holder of society.With the passage of time,the building getting aged developed some cracks weakening of plaster resulting into leakages during rains.The Structural audit conducted 2 years back recommended for a major repair work for the stability of building.The members of society in their Annual General meeting decided to go for redevelopment of building as per provisions of Rule 79 A of MCS act.
